We are seeking a project manager / coordinator to delivery small works projects within the property, construction or municipal environments. You will ensure the effective cost management, contract admin and delivery of small works projects.
Functions will include:
- Manages project budgets, cost control, forecasting and financial reporting.
- Supports procurement activities, contractor engagement and commercial administration.
- Ensures works are delivered within the agreed scope, budget and timeline of projects.
- Monitors variations and scope changes within the project
- Administers construction contracts including NZS 3910, NZS 3916 and NZS 3915 in accordance with contractual obligations
- Coordinates engagement with design teams, consultants and specialist providers.
- Works closely with office and site-based staff ensuring effective delivery of works.
- Ensures design outputs are suitable for client requirements and operational environments.
- Maintains project documentation, reporting and governance records
- Champion compliance with Health & Safety, environmental and access requirements for sites.
You will have / be:
- Relevant qualification or qualified by experience in project management and delivery within the construction sectors
- Sound knowledge of commercial, financial, and compliance processes.
- Proven experience in the delivering of projects within the property, construction, or infrastructure environments.
- Experience supporting budgets, cost tracking, or financial management within projects.
- Solid business communication skills
