Whilst studying a Certificate III Carpentry over 4 years, you’ll have the prospect to work on:

- House framing: build wall frames from the ground up, install floor systems for second storey's and install roof trusses.
- House cladding: wrap homes in sarking to keep them protected and weather ready, install windows, cut and fit weatherboards and panelling.
- Using hand and power tools, including nail guns, circular saws and drills
- Following site procedures, work instructions and safe work practices while developing practical trade skills
- Carrying out other duties that are within the limits of apprentice skills, competence and ability as required.

What we're looking for -

- Commitment to both on and off the job training.
- Genuine interest in building your carpentry career.
- Good, clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Confident on job sites and with using tools.
- Willingness to learn, ask questions and develop new skills

Must haves -

- Hold a P1 or higher drivers licence (or close to obtaining)
- White card (or ability to obtain prior to employment)
- Willingness to undergo Pre-Employment medical, including functional and drug & alcohol screening
