Glass House Mountains State School is seeking a motivated Cleaner to join our school community!

This position is being offered in a Permanent Part-Time capacity (0.76 FTE), 58 hours per fortnight.

About Glass House Mountains State School The school was established in 1906 to service the increasing population of farming families. Pineapple, avocado, macadamia and custard apple farms still grace the landscape today, although not in large pockets as in earlier years.

About The Role The role involves maintaining clean, safe and welcoming learning spaces across the school, including classrooms, offices, amenities and outdoor areas. Duties include general cleaning, rubbish removal, vacuuming, mopping, toilet cleaning, dusting and floor maintenance.

- Contribute to the efficient and effective operation and environment of the site by providing a high level of cleaning support.
- Ensure that the duties prescribed for the position are completed to an acceptable standard as determined by their supervisor, in accordance with the approved school cleaning program.





Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential. Training and support will be provided for the right applicants.

Your Opportunity

As the Cleaner, you will:

- Contribute to the productive and effective operation and environment of the site by providing a high level of cleaning support.
- Ensure that the duties prescribed for the position are completed to an acceptable standard as determined by their supervisor, in accordance with the approved school cleaning program.

The Cleaner reports to the school Principal or nominated delegate. In a non-school location the cleaner reports directly to the Site Manager. Interested? To Apply:
