The Role
Due to growth of our Brisbane Insurance team, we’re now seeking a Lawyer or Associate (1-5 years' PQE) to work alongside David Slatyer and his team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a diverse range of insurance matters while working closely with experienced practitioners who are committed to your development.
You will work on a broad mix of defendant insurance matters, including:
- Compulsory Third Party claims
- Public liability claims
- Property damage claims
- Subrogated recovery actions
- Insurance coverage and indemnity matters
Who We Are Looking For The successful candidate will have:
- Between 1-5 years' PQE in defendant insurance litigation
- A strategic mindset to complex disputes,
confidently navigating court procedures and alternative dispute resolution
- Consistently deliver results that align with client objectives
- Experience working in a fast-paced setting and managing conflicting priorities
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills with a strong client service focus=
- Excellent attention to detail
