About The Role As a Hospital Pharmacist, you'll play a key role in delivering safe and effective, medication management services. Working alongside doctors, nurses and allied health professionals, you'll contribute to high-quality patient care while further developing your clinical knowledge and skills.

Key responsibilities

- Delivering clinical pharmacy services across hospital wards.




- Dispensing medications in both hospital and retail settings, including professional services such as vaccinations.
- Conducting medication history interviews and medicines reconciliation.
- Providing medication counselling and education to patients and carers.
- Monitoring medication outcomes and managing adverse drug reactions.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimise patient outcomes.
- Supporting education and training initiatives for pharmacy, nursing and medical staff.
- Contributing to quality improvement activities, audits and medication safety projects.

Essential requirements

- Current Pharmacist Registration with AHPRA, with no restrictions on practice
- Permanent Australian working rights.
- Personal Indemnity insurance.
