The Role The successful candidate will become a member of a hardworking and committed Technical Team who can provide engineering leadership across MMO’s Capital portfolio.

You will be responsible for:

- Manage the delivery of assigned engineering components across the capital portfolio ensuring engineering resources are allocated in line with business priorities.
- Support the development of Contracting Strategies for major work packages through Feasibility and Execution Stages.
- Deliver technical evaluation for study/engineering work scopes for tendered packages.
- Develop and implement a technical assurance process for engineering.
- Implement technical change management and control.
- Actively identify and manage technical and engineering execution risks

About You Reporting directly to the Studies Manager this role would suit a detailed and process oriented person.





You will also have

- Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mechanical, Mining or Minerals Processing) or related discipline
- 10 – 15 years' engineering experience in complex, brownfield mineral processing, hydrometallurgical or refining operations
- Proven engineering leadership across the full project lifecycle — Concept/Pre-Feasibility through Feasibility, Detailed Engineering, Construction/Commissioning and Close-out
- Extensive people-leadership experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Direct experience across sustaining capital, life extension/major renewal and expansionary (growth) project categories.
