Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist - Edgecliff $160-$180 per hour

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist to join our boutique private practice in Edgecliff, NSW. It would be highly beneficial if candidates have experience in eating disorders and body image.

This contract role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work in a supportive, collaborative environment alongside a team of dedicated clinical psychologists/psychologists. We are looking for someone who can work one to two days.

This role is ideal for someone looking to work part-time, or across both public and private sectors. Saturdays are also an option. As a member of our experienced team, you will play a pivotal role in providing evidence-based psychological services to our diverse clientele. Our practice does receive a lot of referrals for eating and body image disorders; expertise in this area is a must. We also offer peer and individual supervision with Monica Sekowski (clinical psychologist and board-approved supervisor).

Key responsibilities

Conducting comprehensive psychological/mental health assessments and providing individualised treatment plans for a range of mental health conditions

Delivering high-quality, evidence-based psychological interventions

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care

Maintaining detailed clinical records and adhering to professional standards and ethical guidelines

Maintaining valuable relationships with local referrers through timely referral feedback

About you

A registered Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist with a minimum of 3 years' post-registration experience

Demonstrated expertise in the assessment,



diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of mental health issues; an area of interest or knowledge of eating disorders is highly regarded, or another area of speciality, e.g., anxiety disorders

Excellent clinical skills, with a strong focus on delivering evidence-based, client-centred care

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, autonomy, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues

A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field of psychology

Experience working in a private practice setting or a similar context is highly desirable as is working in an inpatient or outpatient mental health team
