About the role
An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Assistant Accountant to join the Commercial Finance Team. This role offers the right candidate an outstanding opportunity to develop their career within a supportive and growing business. You will gain exposure to a broad range of financial responsibilities, making this an excellent stepping stone for anyone looking to build a successful career in finance.
Key responsibilities
Month-end processes, including posting General Ledger journals and completing balance sheet reconciliations
Financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis
Budget preparation and consolidation
Business partnering, including providing analysis and insights to support decision-making
Business improvement initiatives and innovation projects
Ad hoc finance projects as required
About you
Completed tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline
Previous accounting experience is desirable but not essential
The ability to work autonomously and contribute to achieving business objectives
Experience with Power BI and/or Power Query is advantageous but not essential
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
A naturally inquisitive mindset with a passion for problem-solving
Excellent time management and communication skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
The ability to adapt and manage change within a complex and diverse business environment

To Be Successful You Will Have:
