Haematologist - Join Our Growing Specialist Team | Brisbane Specialist Group

Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Flexible Sessional

Start Date: Immediate Start (Let's discuss)

Brisbane Specialist Group (BSG) is a modern, multi-disciplinary specialist clinic located in the thriving South Brisbane corridor, servicing Sunnybank, Greenslopes and surrounding communities.

We have established strong working relationships with nearby private hospitals and maintain close collaboration with an extensive network of specialists and surgeons across multiple disciplines. This allows us to provide integrated, coordinated care and facilitate hospital admissions when required.

As a growing specialist centre, we benefit from strong GP referral networks, experienced on-site administrative support, and a collegial environment that encourages intra-referral between specialties. Our diverse patient base and established multidisciplinary services provide an excellent opportunity for a Haematologist to develop a sustainable private practice.

With increasing opportunities for collaborative care across specialties, including oncology, gastroenterology, geriatric medicine and general medicine, we are looking to expand our services to include specialist haematology consultations.

As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Haematologist to join our team and contribute to our collaborative model of care.

The Role

We are seeking a warm, approachable, and proactive Haematologist to join our growing multidisciplinary team at Brisbane Specialist Group in Sunnybank and Greenslopes.

This opportunity is ideal for a specialist who values clinical independence, multidisciplinary collaboration, and continuity of care within a well-supported private practice environment.

You will have the opportunity to provide specialist consultations for a broad range of benign and/or malignant haematological conditions, depending on your clinical expertise and areas of interest.

Our clinic's established GP referral network, diverse community patient base, and team-oriented intra-referral model provide a strong foundation for developing your private practice, with opportunities to build lasting relationships with referring practitioners and fellow specialists.

You will work closely with an experienced administrative team that supports appointment coordination, patient enquiries, referral management, and day-to-day practice operations, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

This opportunity offers part-time/full-time/sessional consulting arrangements depending on your availability and professional preferences. It is particularly well suited to a Haematologist looking to establish or expand your private consulting practice alongside existing hospital appointments or other professional commitments.

We welcome applications from both established specialists and newly qualified consultants seeking to develop their private practice within a supportive and collegial environment.
