Used Vehicle Reconditioner & Yard Attendant

We are seeking an experienced Used Vehicle Reconditioner & Yard Attendant to join the team at Brisbane Isuzu in Eagle Farm, Queensland. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the quality and presentation of our used vehicle inventory. As Used Vehicle Reconditioner & Yard Attendant, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for sale, ensuring they meet our high standards, and maintaining our yard to create a professional setting for our customers and staff. This role is integral to our dealership operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction and the overall success of our used vehicle department.

Key responsibilities

- Inspect used vehicles upon arrival and identify any cosmetic or detailing work required
- Conduct thorough cleaning and detailing of vehicles, both interior and exterior, to presentation standards
- Manage yard organisation, cleanliness and safety standards
- Perform basic administrative tasks related to vehicle preparation and documentation
- Liaise with the sales team to understand customer requirements and address any pre-delivery concerns
- Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a safe and professional condition
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and dealership policies

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a vehicle reconditioner, mechanic or similar automotive trade background
- Basic mechanical knowledge and practical skills in vehicle servicing and repairs would be advantageous




- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record; a truck licence would be preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valuable organisational and time management skills
- Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work
- Experience with vehicle inventory management systems would be advantageous
