This role suits an engineer who enjoys the commercial side of construction and wants hands‑on involvement in how steel projects are scoped, priced, fabricated and installed. You'll work closely with our management, drafting and workshop team.

Key responsibilities

Identify and pursue new project opportunities across construction, infrastructure, commercial, industrial and residential markets

Build and maintain strong client relationships and develop repeat business

Review drawings, specifications and enquiries to understand project scope, risks and delivery requirements

Prepare or coordinate estimates, quotations and tender submissions

Follow up proposals and manage opportunities from first contact through to award

Manage awarded projects from handover through fabrication and installation, keeping them on program and within budget

Coordinate drafting, procurement, the workshop and site delivery, and manage variations and client communication along the way

Match each opportunity to Frontline's capabilities, workshop capacity and commercial requirements

Work closely with management, engineering, drafting and the workshop team to develop practical, competitive proposals
