Job Summary

Support physical preparation, performance and availability across the Brisbane Broncos NRL squad. Plan and deliver field-based conditioning and support individualised strength and power development in the gym. Lead reconditioning and return-to-performance work with medical, physiotherapy, rehabilitation and coaching colleagues. Monitor player loads and readiness, interpret performance information and adjust preparation according to positional demands, injury history and individual development needs. Contribute to the review of the NRL performance programme under the Head of Performance.

Level 6. This senior practitioner independently plans and delivers field-based conditioning, reconditioning and gym-based physical preparation for an NRL squad. The role coordinates return-to-performance interventions with medical and coaching staff, interprets monitoring information and exercises accountable judgement within the Head of Performance's wider strategy. No direct line management or department-wide strategic authority is established. Employer requirement: relevant tertiary degree and qualified S&C; accreditation, with advanced accreditation highly regarded; no named certification body is specified.
