Site Manager - Commercial Fit Outs Nth QLD

Commercial Builders with a national footprint and a strong pipeline of work, recognised for delivering multiple projects to some of Australia's largest retail organisations.We are seeking an experienced, practical, and hands-on Site Manager to lead retail store fit-out projects, including end-to-end fit-outs, major refurbishments, and structural upgrades across our expanding retail network in QLD.

About the Role
This is a dynamic, site-based role ideal for a skilled tradesperson who thrives on leading projects from the front, from initial handover through to practical completion.As the Site Manager, you will oversee daily site operations, coordinate trades, and remain actively hands-on to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.

Candidates with a background in Welding, Boilermaking, or Carpentry are highly encouraged to apply. Trade qualifications and practical experience in these areas will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee commercial fit-out projects from start to finish.
- Manage, coordinate, and supervise trades and contractors.




- Maintain a hands-on approach to all fit-out-related tasks.
- Drive project timelines to ensure handover deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Manage site safety compliance and maintain a secure working setting.
- Liaise effectively with project managers, operations teams, and store management.

Skills and Experience

- Proven experience as a Site Manager, Site Foreman, or qualified Tradesperson.
- Welding, Boilermaking, or Carpentry experience and qualifications are highly desirable and strongly encouraged.
- Experience in structural steelwork, fabrication, carpentry, or commercial construction will be highly regarded.
- Strong knowledge of commercial or retail fit-out environments is advantageous.
- Ability to lead trades while remaining actively involved in hands-on site work.
- Valid White Card essential.
- Valid Driver's Licence essential.
