Workfastis looking for experienced Traffic Controllersfor all the major events acrossMelbourne, VIC.
This will be the ongoing work including public holidays, weekdays and weekends for the right candidate.

- $35.05 base rate per hour with OT/Public Holiday loading + super
Requirement
- Must have valid traffic control tickets
- Must have Traffic Control experience
- RIIWHS205E Control traffic with stop/slow bat course
- RIIWHS302E - Implement traffic management plans
- Construction induction - white card
- Drivers license
- Have your own radio and PPE
- Experience working on roads
- Able to work in a team and able to work individually
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Well-presented and punctual
What you will be doing
- Perform all tasks associated with traffic management
- Site clean up and worksite duty
- Travel in different locations
- Use of Stop/Slow Bat to control traffic
- Sound verbal skills with knowledge of 2-way radio
- Implement and monitor operational Traffic Management Plans
- Complete vehicle pre-start checks
- Load and unload vehicles with signage and equipment
- Complete required paperwork
- Report on-site hazards and near misses
- Obey instructions from team leaders, foremen, inspectors and auditors
