ational Leasing Executive

One of Australia’s fastest growing QSR food retail groups is looking for a proactive, commercially minded retail leasing professional to play a key role in its continued expansion.

With a substantial restaurant opening program already underway, you will build the pipeline of prime locations that enables this growth – strengthening brand presence, opening new markets and setting restaurants up for commercial success.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys exploring the market, building relationships and turning promising opportunities into commercial deals. You will draw on your sector knowledge and connections, identify and approach decision makers, stay close to upcoming developments and tenders, and turn early conversations into viable sites and negotiated agreements.

Based in Melbourne and reporting to the Head of Network Development, you will pursue retail locations across major urban and regional markets nationally. A major focus will be finding and securing non-traditional opportunities – including airports, universities, hospitals and major venues and events. You will also contribute to decisions across the existing lease portfolio.

What you will do

- Proactively pursue opportunities in existing and new developments, airports, universities, hospitals, major venues and events, and other non-traditional settings.
- Find the right decision makers, make direct approaches and develop relationships with landlords, agents, developers and venue operators.
- Stay close to upcoming developments and tenders, uncover off-market opportunities and build a continuing national pipeline.
- Assess opportunities against brand requirements and work with the team to test site economics and franchise partner viability.
- Negotiate commercial terms and maintain momentum from initial discussions through to agreement.
- Secure shopping centre and retail strip sites, and contribute to renewals, relocations, rent reviews and other portfolio decisions.

What you will bring
You may come from a QSR or food retail group,



broader retail leasing, a landlord or agency, or a role combining leasing with franchise development. You could be an established manager or a leasing professional ready for a wider remit. What matters most is your ability to open doors, create a pipeline and negotiate strong commercial outcomes – including in markets where relationships and opportunities must be built from scratch.

You will bring:

- Experience in leasing, site sourcing, property development or network development.
- Highly developed commercial negotiation skills and the judgement to assess an chance’s value, risks and viability.
- A proactive approach to identifying decision makers, making contact, pursuing referrals and tenders, and staying with opportunities through long deal cycles.
- Solid commercial judgement, a collaborative approach and the confidence to work with a small, experienced team.
- A Melbourne base and the ability to work across a national portfolio.
