We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sound Engineer to join our dynamic team and help bring our productions to life. Required
• Commitment every Sunday morning from 6am
- 1pm
• 2 months notice if not able to attend
• Familiar with IEM's and digital mixing console
• Some AX and LX knowledge required
• Good attitude, client-facing approach

About the Role
For this specific role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating for musical performance and spoken word for a Sunday church group. If appointed this role, you will also have the option of working as a Live Sound and or Lighting Engineer at Century in other context. You will be responsible for setting up and operating FOH/mons systems for a wide range of live events. You will work closely with directors, production teams, and other technical staff to ensure that every performance sounds great and runs smoothly. Century Venues has an exciting opportunity for several motivated individuals to join the team as a Skilled All Rounder to work across our entertainment venues. Our new Sound and Lighting Engineer is passionate about music, comedy and entertainment, and has solid experience working with all aspects of live entertainment in venues. Key priorities for the Sound & Lighting Engineer / Operator position include, but are not limited to:
• Operating and mixing FOH / MON for all types of live performances




• Familiar with Analogue and Digital audio systems Allen & Heath dLive S5000 with a dLive DM32 Mix Rack and GrandMA3 on PC with a Command Wing
• Has used and is familiar with a selection of Analogue and Digital Consoles
• Patching and mic’ing techniques for live performances
• Conducting regular cleaning, maintenance and upkeep of sound equipment.
• Representing the Group through liaison with Tour Managers, Production Managers, Artists, Promoters and our Clients on show days.
• Troubleshooting and problem solving for audio systems
• Maintaining a safe working environment by conforming to all established safety policies and procedures
• Taking responsibility of stage and production areas
• Reporting; end of event Attributes And Experience
• Preferred experience as both a Sound and Lighting Operator, preferably within the live entertainment industry.
• Strong knowledge of audio and lighting consoles, fixtures, and other related equipment.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a rapid-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required by event schedules.
