Job Description

What We Offer
• Competitive pay: $27.08 per hour base rate, plus casual loading and applicable penalty rates
• Opportunities available across the week, with varied days and hours
• The opportunity to transition to a part time position after five weeks, subject to availability and operational needs

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and serve meals with care, helping residents enjoy a positive and comfortable dining experience
• Deliver warm, attentive customer service, ensuring residents feel welcomed, respected and valued
• Assist with tray service and the preparation and service of texture-modified meals in line with residents’ dietary requirements
• Support daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, dishwashing and maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic workspace




• Work confidently both independently and as part of a team to ensure the smooth delivery of catering services
• Bring a resident-focused approach to every interaction, recognising the important role food and friendly service play in residents’ wellbeing Desired Skills And Experience What We’re Looking For
• Previous experience in catering, food service or kitchen operations, ideally within an aged care or healthcare setting
• A genuine passion for supporting older Australians, with a warm, caring and respectful approach
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with a focus on creating a positive dining experience for residents
• A sound understanding of food safety, hygiene standards and safe food handling practices
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to work across a seven-day roster
