We’re looking for a Senior Remedial Engineer who enjoys investigating building problems, developing practical solutions and seeing their designs come to life. The role You’ll take ownership of remedial projects from initial investigation through to design and construction, working closely with our directors, engineers, clients and contractors. Your work will include:
• Investigating structural, façade, waterproofing and durability defects.
• Designing practical rectification solutions.
• Preparing technical reports, specifications and drawings.
• Undertaking site inspections and resolving construction queries.
• Contributing to forensic investigations, tender assessments and litigation support.
• Mentoring junior engineers and sharing your technical knowledge. What you’ll bring
• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and strong remedial engineering experience.




• Current NSW Design Practitioner registration in the relevant discipline, or eligibility and readiness to obtain registration.
• Experience delivering remedial projects from investigation through to construction.
• Sound knowledge of Australian Standards, the NCC and NSW regulatory requirements.
• Clear communication, good engineering judgment and a practical approach to solving problems.
• A collaborative attitude and a sense of humour.
• CPEng and NER registration will be highly regarded. Why join TBES?
