About the role
We’re seeking a motivated Site Engineer to support the delivery of an exciting marine infrastructure project in the Mid West region of Western Australia, on a FIFO 2:1 roster. Working closely with the Construction Manager, supervisors, subcontractors and project teams, you’ll play a key role in coordinating site activities, maintaining quality and safety standards, and ensuring works are delivered in line with project specifications and schedules. This is an opportunity to build your experience on a major infrastructure project while contributing to a strong team focused on secure, efficient and high-quality delivery.

Key responsibilities
• Coordinate site engineering activities, interpreting drawings and resolving technical issues to support construction delivery.
• Implement quality requirements, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), inspections, testing and quality documentation.
• Monitor progress, costs and schedules, identifying and escalating risks or deviations.
• Support procurement, subcontractor coordination, work packages and progress claims.
• Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with project procedures, environmental requirements and the McConnell Dowell Management System. Don’t tick all the boxes? • A relevant tertiary qualification in civil engineering, construction engineering or a related discipline.
• Ideally,



at least two years’ experience in a construction or engineering environment (marine experience highly benefitial).
• A sound understanding of construction safety, quality assurance and engineering documentation.
• A current Australian driver’s licence and White Card. What’s in it for you?
