About Our Hospital Bundaberg Private Day Hospital is a purpose-built modern day surgery specialising in Ophthalmology, Endoscopy, Plastics, Skin, Vascular and general surgery. Our hospital has two operating theatres and a procedure room with state-of-the-art technology. Your Chance As the Sterilisation Services Manager CSSD, you are the heartbeat of our team, bringing our mission of the best possible care to life. You’ll support the smooth running of our facility by driving clinical excellence and patient safety at every stage of their journey. Through close collaboration with our multidisciplinary team, you’ll ensure outcomes that are positive, reliable and centred on the person in front of you. With Respect And Collaboration, You Will
• Lead the CSSD team in cleaning and sterilisation services
• Ensure all sterilising standards and infection control measures are adhered to
• Undertake quality improvement activities for the department
• Monitor CSSD equipment and stock levels and order as required
• Ensure daily equipment checks are completed and usage records maintained in accordance with the AS 5369:2023 standards and the NSQHS Standard 3

• Cert III or Cert IV in Sterilising Services
• Proven experience in a similar leadership role
• Sound knowledge of sterilisation procedures and practices
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Sound working knowledge of AS 5369:2023 and Infection Control standards
• Demonstrated ability to organise the sterilisation needs of the operating and procedure room requirements We’d Love It If You Also Had
