The Opportunity We’re seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Environmental Services team in Welshpool. Covering Western Australia, you’ll drive new business growth across Veolia’s Liquid and Hazardous Waste services. Working closely with chemists, technical specialists and operations teams, you’ll develop customer solutions, manage project based opportunities and secure profitable new business across sectors including mining, manufacturing, chemicals and major commercial customers. • Develop and manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities across Western Australia
• Secure profitable new business for Veolia’s Liquid and Hazardous Waste services
• Manage project-based sales activity from initial opportunity through to contract negotiation and handover
• Work with chemists and technical teams to develop compliant and commercially viable waste solutions
• Build strong relationships with customers and key decision-makers across target industries
• Develop proposals, pricing and tender responses in collaboration with internal stakeholders and technical teams
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new growth opportunities
• Prepare and manage end to end proposals and tender submissions, working independently where required to secure new Liquid and Hazardous Waste opportunities What You’ll Need to be Successful
• experience in business development, ideally in a complex B2B environment




• A proven track record of securing new business and delivering profitable growth
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience with pricing and contract negotiation
