• Relevant tertiary qualifications in computing, spatial technologies, information technology, or equivalent experience working within the spatial information technology industry.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial software engineering, developing and implementing internet and client/ server applications utilizing spatial technologies.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience must in a range of information technologies and programming languages including Javascript (ESRI JSAPI/Open Layers/Leaflet/Mapbox/React), Java, Python, XML, HTML, and Esri ArcGIS Server
• Extensive knowledge and experience in relational database management systems (e.g. Postgres/Oracle/SQL server), SQL, object-oriented software design, and service-oriented architecture
• Experience with AWS Cloud technologies (e.g. Lamba functions)
• Competent with development tools such as Visual Studio Code, Git, Azure Devops, Jira, Confluence
• Experience with deployment automation to support CI/CD delivery
