The Company….. /n /n A large and rapidly growing Queensland Government organisation is seeking an experienced Project Support Officer to provide essential administrative support to its project team./n /n /n The ideal candidate will have strong administrative capabilities, preferably with experience in a project support workplace, and the ability to contribute to the smooth and efficient delivery of project activities./n /n /n Based in Nerang, this opportunity is offered on an initial 12-month contract with possible extension options thereafter. /n /n /n /n /n The Job….. /n /n Reporting to the Project Manager in this Project Support role, you will be responsible for:/n /n /n
- Provide high-level administrative and project support to Project Managers and team members across road infrastructure projects. /n
- Coordinate meetings, prepare minutes, reports, presentations, spreadsheets and project registers. /n
- Support financial approvals, contract administration, procurement documentation and tender processes. /n
- Maintain accurate project documentation, track approvals and follow up on deliverables to meet deadlines. /n




- Assist Project Managers with day-to-day tasks to ensure timely project delivery. /n
- Ensure compliance with departmental policies, legislation, WH&S; requirements and governance frameworks. /n /n You….. /n /n To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following:/n /n /n
- Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role. /n
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint. /n
- Basic understanding of procurement, with infrastructure procurement or finance experience highly desirable. /n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship management skills. /n
- Current C-class driver’s licence. /n
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment screening, including a criminal history check. /n /n
