Head Chef: New Perth CBD Venue (Brookfield Place) Cheeky Monkey Brewing Co has built a workplace around quality, humour, and being genuinely positive at what we do. We’re an award-winning WA brewery, and we’re opening our newest venue in the heart of Perth CBD at Brookfield Place in late December 2026. We’re looking for a Head Chef to build the kitchen from the ground up and bring that same standard to every plate. This is a rare one: a brand new kitchen, brand new equipment, and the chance to make it yours from day one. Think elevated pub food, 24 taps of our beer, and a welcoming place people want to spend time in. You’ll have the guidance and support of our Executive Chef behind you, and the freedom to take real ownership of lunch and dinner service. We trade Monday to Saturday, so your Sundays are your own. About you: At least 3 years’ experience as a Head Chef or senior chef in a similar venue Someone who leads by example and genuinely enjoys building a good team, not just running one Comfortable with the numbers side of things as well as the pass Excited by the challenge of a venue launch What the role involves:



Setting up and opening our new kitchen, and leading the team day to day Working closely with Front-of-House to deliver a seamless lunch and dinner service Recruiting, rostering, training, and mentoring staff so the team keeps improving Ordering and managing stock, and building good relationships with suppliers Delivering menus developed with our Executive Chef, with room to contribute your own ideas Keeping food and labour costs on target Keeping on top of health, safety, and food handling compliance Running a smooth, well-organised service, especially when it gets busy Keeping communication open and respectful across the whole team What you get in return: Ownership of a brand new kitchen with brand new equipment Guidance and support from our Executive Chef No Sunday work, trading Monday to Saturday A genuine launch opportunity with a growing, WA-focused beverage manufacturing and hospitality group Staff wellness program Trips down south to our South West venues A paid day off for your birthday
