CAMP CHEFS WANTED | SURAT BASIN ⛏️
$40+ per hour | 12-hour days | 1–3 week swings
Ready for a change of scenery? Take your chef skills into the field with exciting opportunities across mobile mining camps in the Surat Basin!
We’re looking for experienced Camp Chefs / Camp Cook-Managers who take pride in great food, thrive in remote environments and want to be part of a team that values their skills.
✅ $40.17+ per hour
✅ 1–3 week swings to suit your availability
✅ FIFO/BIBO Brisbane or DIDO Toowoomba (roster dependent)
✅ Ongoing assignments across established remote operations
✅ Supportive teams where reliability and quality are recognised
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Trade-qualified Chef (min. Cert III in Commercial Cookery)
with bulk catering experience
- Previous remote or mining camp experience (essential)
- Confident working independently and managing kitchen operations
- Strong food safety and stock control
- Current First Aid or willingness to obtain immediately
- 4WD / Operate Vehicles in the Field ticket highly desirable
