- Join our clinic in this rewarding Nurse role, where you will deliver a full range of medical support services to the Doctor and patients, providing quality care including triage, acute care, proactively pursue the completion of Health assessments, GP Management plans and Team Care arrangements, oversee stock control, comply with all relevant legislation and regulatory standards, ensure client and community confidentiality, within a holistic and culturally acceptable framework to the communities of Dareton and Wentworth.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships across a wide variety of professional and non-professional staff in both community and acute service settings.
- Participate in (and in some case lead) activities in continuous quality improvement

Do you have the qualities we are looking for?

- Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse with clinical experience within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, implement and evaluate screening and health promotion/education activities in both acute and outreach settings.




- Demonstrated skills and knowledge of Chronic disease management
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the unique physical, social, emotional and cultural issues which impact on Aboriginal people and communities
- Ability to work with Aboriginal communities, their leaders and health professionals, while respecting traditional culture, values and ways of doing business
- Demonstrated computer skills to operate Microsoft programs and Patient Information Systems
- Demonstrated developed interpersonal skills for communicating with patients
- Demonstrated multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills
- Current Driver’s license
