Powerlink Energy is a leading name in global energy production, where we deliver reliable energy solutions used across a wide range of industries globally. As a manufacturer, we design, produce and distribute diesel and gas generators, air compressors, lighting towers, as well as providing sales, after-sales and warranty support, all supported by dedicated after-sales service and technical support.

The Role

We are looking for an engineer with a background in electrical, automation and/or design to support our product line and ongoing projects. Familiarity with PLC control systems will be beneficial.

This role involves contributing to product development by providing insight on technical specifications and improvements, as well as assisting in ongoing projects.

A background in batteries (whether commercial or residential) along with experience in technical support for energy products and/or field service engineering, will be highly regarded for this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Gain a strong understanding of the company’s product range, including diesel and gas generators, air compressors and lightning towers, through training at the international headquarters
- Contribute to product development by providing insights on technical specifications and improvements
- Assist in ongoing projects,



including liaising with relevant parties to diagnose problems
- Support communication between internal teams and external stakeholders as required
- Prepare reports, taking client feedback into account
- Carry out additional duties assigned by management from time to time

Key Competencies

- The ability to undertake multiple tasks with a minimum level of direct supervision
- Solid attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- To have an affinity with technology to provide support regarding technical specifications of our products via telephone
- Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly over the phone

Qualifications

- Bachelor of Engineering (completed or in penultimate/final year)

Salary
From $60,000 per annum + superannuation
