Full time opportunity of 2 Welders for busy Truck bodies manufacturing company with good package and superannuation as per legislation.
The Applicant should be well qualified; Valuable communication skills required.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Responsible for:
- Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documents to determine welding requirements.
- Prepare and clean metal surfaces by removing rust, scale, and contaminants.
- Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and stick welders.
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques to join, fabricate, or repair metal parts.
- Inspect welds for quality and consistency, ensuring they meet specifications and standards.
- Adjust welding parameters and equipment settings to accommodate different materials and welding positions.
- Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety procedures and wear protective gear to safeguard against hazards.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and engineers to complete projects efficiently.
- Document work completed and report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $77,000.00 – $78,000.00 per year
