Pharmacy Retail Manager – TerryWhite Chemmart Albany Creek

TerryWhite Chemmart Albany Creek is looking for a full-time Retail Manager to join our leadership team.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining team development, commercial performance, merchandising, strategic planning and exceptional customer care.

Importantly, we believe good management requires time to actually manage. While our Retail Manager will be visible and involved on the shop floor, dedicated time and support are provided for planning, analysis, training, administration and the strategic work required to run a successful retail pharmacy.

About the role

Working collaboratively with our Store Manager and Dispensary Manager, you will help lead a retail team of approximately 10–12 people and have a genuine voice in the direction and development of the pharmacy.

Responsibilities include:

- Leading, supporting and developing our retail team
- Building a positive, accountable and welcoming team culture
- Monitoring retail KPIs, sales and category performance
- Category planning, merchandising, catalogues and promotions
- Maintaining our Electronic Shelf Label system
- Supporting stock control, ordering and inventory management
- Developing staff product knowledge and confidence
- Supporting health promotions and professional pharmacy services
- Assisting with recruitment, onboarding and development
- Supporting QSPP readiness and operational standards
- Building strong relationships with our customers and local community

About you

Community pharmacy management experience and/or TerryWhite Chemmart experience would be highly regarded, but we also strongly encourage applications from experienced 2ICs, Assistant Managers or senior pharmacy team members who are ready to step into broader leadership.

We are looking for someone who is warm, organised, commercially minded, proactive, accountable and confident communicating with and developing others.

Experience with community pharmacy, Minfos, Yoobic, ordering, stock management, planograms or TerryWhite Chemmart programs would be advantageous.

You do not need to know everything on day one. We value curiosity, initiative, communication and a willingness to learn.
