Experienced Airbnb & Holiday Rental Cleaner – Contractor

Hostie Properties | Tweed Coast, NSW

$45/hr Contractor Rate | Regular Ongoing Weekly Work

Hostie Properties is looking for an experienced, reliable contract cleaner to join our growing team, servicing beautiful Airbnb and holiday rental properties across the Tweed Coast.

We’re looking for someone who already knows how to clean to a high professional standard and is confident working independently.

This role is about more than simply completing a cleaning checklist. We need someone with a excellent eye for detail who can walk into a property, know what needs to be done and take pride in leaving the home beautifully presented and completely guest-ready.

About the role

You’ll be responsible for preparing holiday homes between guest stays, including:

- Full Airbnb and holiday rental turnover cleaning
- Making and presenting beds to a high standard
- Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- Checking the entire property before leaving
- Identifying and reporting maintenance issues or damage
- Noticing stains, missing items or anything that doesn’t look right
- Checking and restocking guest supplies
- Identifying when additional or deeper cleaning is required
- Taking photos and communicating issues with our management team
- Ensuring every property is beautifully presented and ready for arriving guests

About you

We’re looking for someone who:

- Has previous professional cleaning experience
- Ideally has Airbnb, holiday rental, hotel or accommodation cleaning experience
- Can confidently work independently without constant supervision
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Works efficiently without compromising cleaning standards
- Is reliable, organised and takes responsibility for their work
- Is proactive and notices problems rather than simply cleaning around them
- Can follow property-specific cleaning and presentation instructions
- Communicates well with our management team

- Is physically capable of cleaning and making beds throughout the day
- Has a current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Has an ABN and is able to work as an independent contractor
- Has their own cleaning equipment and supplies suitable for professional holiday rental cleaning

Hours & Availability

This is a contractor position with regular, ongoing work available every week across our portfolio of holiday properties.

Work is completed during the day and scheduled around guest departures and upcoming arrivals.

As holiday accommodation operates seven days a week, flexibility and availability across different days of the week is important.

What we offer

- $45/hr contractor rate
- Regular, ongoing weekly work
- Daytime work
- Consistent opportunities across our portfolio of holiday properties
- Support from our Hostie management and admin team
- Beautiful properties across the Tweed Coast
- A friendly and organised team to work alongside
- Opportunity for additional work as our property portfolio grows

Please note: As this is an independent contractor role, contractors are responsible for providing their own cleaning equipment and products.
