Key responsibilities
- Partner with leaders to provide practical and commercially focused advice on employee relations case management
- Manage performance and conduct matters
- Handle workplace grievances and investigations
- Interpret workplace policy and employment legislation
- Coach leaders through people-related challenges
- Manage a diverse caseload while building trusted relationships across the organisation
- Work on change and organisational initiatives
About you
- Previous experience in a dedicated Employee Relations, Workplace Relations or Industrial Relations role
- Experience managing investigations, grievances, performance and conduct matters
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation
- Confidence advising and coaching leaders
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment

This role sits within a specialist Employee Relations team within a mature People & Culture function with dedicated teams across Employee Relations, Employment Law, Work Health & Safety, People Partnering, Organisational Development & Learning, Talent Acquisition and People Systems. You'll work closely with experienced ER Consultants, Employment Law specialists, WHS specialists, People & Culture Business Partners and senior business leaders.
