Position Description & Key Duties:

We are seeking a reliable, full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and reliability of all plant machinery and production equipment.

Your daily tasks and responsibilities will include:

- Performing routine preventative, scheduled, and breakdown maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Band saw operations
- Ultra high pressure water jetting
- Forklift operations
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting faults or performance issues on production lines, conveyors, and automated machinery.
- Repairing, replacing, and aligning mechanical components, hydraulics, pneumatics, and motor drives.




- Installing and commissioning new plant machinery in accordance with technical specifications and safety guidelines.
- Maintaining exact documentation of machinery logs, maintenance schedules, and replacement parts.
- Ensuring absolute compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) standards and company policies.

Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

- A relevant trade qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade, Electrotechnology, or an equivalent qualification).
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working as a Maintenance Technician or Mechanical Fitter in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
- Proven technical proficiency in reading engineering drawings, pneumatic/hydraulic schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to safely work under minimal supervision.
- Forklift licence, high pressure water jetting ticket
- Flexibility to work shifts, including rotating rosters or on-call emergency breakdowns if required.
- Experience in working with hazard materials or radioactive substances essential
