First Steps Bridal is looking for a confident, enthusiastic and reliable dance instructor to join our growing team.

We specialise in helping couples feel comfortable, confident and connected on the dance floor, creating beautiful first dances without the pressure of complicated choreography or traditional ballroom lessons.

Our approach is simple: Your first dance should feel like you, not a performance.

We're looking for someone who shares that philosophy and can create a relaxed, supportive and genuinely enjoyable experience for every couple.

About the Role

As a Bridal Dance Instructor, you'll work one-on-one with couples to prepare them for their wedding day.

You'll be responsible for:

- Teaching private bridal dance lessons to couples of varying abilities, including complete beginners.
- Creating personalised first dance routines that suit each couple's music, personalities and confidence levels.
- Breaking down movement into simple, achievable steps.
- Helping couples feel relaxed, supported and confident throughout the process.
- Providing a positive, professional and memorable client experience.
- Maintaining transparent communication and supporting couples as they prepare for their wedding.

You'll be working with our established First Steps Bridal teaching approach, with training and guidance provided to help you deliver a consistent client experience.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

- Has previous dance teaching experience.
- Is confident teaching adults, particularly beginners.
- Can simplify movement and choreography for people with little or no dance experience.
- Has a warm,



approachable and encouraging teaching style.
- Is patient, adaptable and comfortable working with different personalities.
- Is organised, reliable and professional.
- Can work independently while representing the First Steps Bridal brand.

Experience teaching ballroom or wedding dances is not essential. We're much more interested in your ability to connect with people, teach clearly and make movement accessible.

Experience in jazz, contemporary, commercial or other dance styles is welcome.
