The Prospect
We welcome applications from manual machinists, CNC machinists, and fitters and turners with machining experience. You don’t need experience across every machine listed—tell us where your strengths lie.
- Setting up and operating manual and/or CNC lathes and milling machines
- Producing precision components to engineering drawings and specifications
- Measuring and inspecting components to ensure accuracy and quality
- Selecting suitable tooling, speeds and feeds for machining tasks
- Programming or adjusting CNC machines where experienced
- Maintaining a safe, organised workshop and working closely with the team
About You
- Relevant trade qualification in machining, fitting and turning, or engineering
- Practical experience with manual lathes, mills and/or CNC machines
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances
- Confidence using precision measuring equipment
- Reliable work ethic, attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to undertake a pre-employment medical
- Forklift licence
Highly Regarded
- Fanuc or Fagor controller experience
- CAD/CAM experience, including Fusion
- Experience in an industrial or manufacturing workshop
