Duchess Medical Practice is seeking a qualified and experienced Practice Nurse to join our team in Busselton, WA. As Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care and supporting the overall operations of our general medical practice.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting patient assessments, providing treatments, and delivering nursing interventions according to best practice guidelines
- Administering medications, vaccinations, and other medical procedures under the direction of our GPs
- Assisting with the coordination and management of chronic disease programs
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
- Promoting health education and supporting patient self-management
- Adhering to all relevant clinical, workplace health and safety, and infection control policies and procedures
What we're looking for
- Registration as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Practice Nurse or in a similar primary care setting
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based nursing practice
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Proficient in patient record management and the use of medical software
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
