An exciting prospect is available for an experienced Civil Project Engineer to join a major infrastructure construction project in Western Australia. This is a hands-on site delivery role focused on the successful execution of civil and concrete works, supporting the construction of critical export infrastructure.

This role is ideal for a Project Engineer who enjoys being in the field, driving outcomes, managing subcontractors, and solving problems on site. The focus is on project delivery and construction execution, not design engineering.

About the Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take ownership of key work packages and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
You will spend the majority of your time supporting site operations, coordinating contractors, managing interfaces, and driving construction progress across concrete and infrastructure works.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver civil and infrastructure construction packages from planning through to completion
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and site crews
- Manage reinforced concrete structures, foundations, wharf and infrastructure-related works
- Monitor project budgets, schedules and productivity
- Prepare and manage QA/QC documentation, ITPs, inspections and project reporting
- Manage procurement activities and subcontractor agreements
- Identify and resolve technical and construction issues on site
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and project standards
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders and project teams to achieve successful project outcomes

What We're Looking For





We are seeking candidates with a strong background delivering large-scale mining, marine, defence, transport, industrial or infrastructure construction projects.

Key experience includes:

- Civil Engineering or Construction Management qualification
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer on major construction projects
- Strong background in concrete structures, civil infrastructure and structural works
- Experience managing contractors, supervisors and multidisciplinary construction teams
- Strong understanding of project controls, cost management and scheduling
- Exposure to contract administration and subcontractor management
- Experience in QA/QC, commissioning support and project completion activities
- Ability to drive outcomes in a fast-paced site environment

Candidates with experience delivering projects involving the following will be highly regarded:

- Reinforced and precast concrete structures
- Structural steel installation and erection
- Marine, port or wharf infrastructure
- Underground services and utilities
- HDPE and steel piping installation
- Industrial, mining and resource sector infrastructure
- Defence, transport or heavy civil projects
- Brownfield and greenfield construction environments
- EPC, EPCM or owner-operator project delivery models
