Unite Healthcare is seeking an experienced Senior Mental Health Nurse to join a community mental health team in the Top End of the Northern Territory on a contract basis. This is an N4 position, equivalent to CNC level interstate.
You will provide assessment, intervention and case management for an allocated caseload using a recovery-based framework. Working with clients, carers and the wider clinical team, you will develop, implement and evaluate individual care plans and engage with stakeholders to deliver high quality, holistic care for people living with mental illness.
About you
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- 5+ years post-registration mental health experience, with time at CNS or CNC level
- Solid mental health triage and acute mental health assessment skills
- Experience in case management and care planning within a recovery-based model
- Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Current driver’s licence
