- Mental health resources and lifestyle discounts About Kuttabul Health Centre Located on HMAS Kuttabul in Potts Point where the area itself has been a naval base since 1856. It is home to Fleet Support Unit South-East (FSU-SE) which conducts maintenance on ships and submarines. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation & underwater medical, outpatients, nursing, dental, mental health, pharmaceutical and physiotherapy services. This mid-size base has up to 4,500 members and provides services for overseas visiting personnel. Standard operating hours are generally 0730-1530 Monday-Friday. What you’ll do
• Deliver high-quality mental health care to Defence members
• Conducting fitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care.
• Undertaking assessments, interventions, formulating treatment and care plans for individuals and group education sessions
• Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical setting where patient wellness is paramount What you bring
• Unrestricted AHPRA general registration as a Psychologist
• Minimum two years’ Post Graduate experience within last five years in mental health within a Primary Healthcare Setting or Specialist Mental Health Setting
• Comprehensive assessment skills and experience in ‘Focussed Psychological Strategies’ and ‘Psychological Therapy’ as per Medicare Schedule
• Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
• Australian Citizenship required for Baseline Security Clearance
