In Digital Assurance, you’ll deepen your expertise across technology-enabled assurance, risk, controls and regulatory work while working with clients that help underpin the integrity of the Australian economy. Your day will be varied, practical and people focused. You’ll work side by side with clients and Deloitte teams to understand how businesses use technology, how their systems support key processes, and where controls help protect customers, brands and community trust. You’ll help clients strengthen their IT governance, risk and control environments as they navigate cloud, agile delivery, robotics, ERP transformation and emerging technologies. You’ll work across internal audit engagements and controls advisory, helping clients assess and strengthen the systems, processes and controls that support their operations. We deliver internal audit and controls advisory services that are insight-led, practical and forward looking, helping clients better understand risk, improve governance and build confidence with stakeholders. You’ll deliver audits of clients’ systems, data and cybersecurity controls, helping assess whether digital practices and control activities are well designed and operating effectively. Working closely with financial audit teams and other stakeholders, you’ll support engagement planning, lead components of fieldwork, evaluate control design and test the effectiveness of internal controls across IT processes and systems. You’ll also help clients design, uplift and transform their control environments to better support governance, resilience and performance. The work you do helps provide confidence in the technology that supports financial reporting and business operations. About the team Our Digital Assurance team sits within Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance division and brings together people with backgrounds across technology, risk, controls, accounting and assurance. We help clients with a wide range of technology-enabled assurance, risk, controls and regulatory capabilities. about us
, let’s talk about you. You are someone who:
• Has 2–5 years’ experience in technology, risk, audit, assurance or a related field within professional services or a corporate ASX 200 environment
• Brings IT, technology or cyber experience, with practical knowledge of audit, assurance, risk, controls or technology environments
• Has third party assurance experience, including SOC 1, SOC 2, ASAE 3150, ASAE 3402, ASAE 3100, or an interest in developing capability in these areas
• Has IT internal audit experience or exposure
• Has experience with CPS 230 and CPS 234, or broader prudential, regulatory or controls-related requirements
• Values experience in risk management, data analytics, systems transformation or information systems
• Has exposure to controls advisory, internal audit or third-party controls assurance engagements
• Has experience planning and delivering process, risk and control projects, including assessing control design and operating effectiveness and translating findings into practical actions and improvement opportunities
• Has a combination of IT and business qualification, which would be viewed favourably




• Has obtained or commenced a professional qualification such as CISA, CA or equivalent
• Brings practical knowledge of audit, assurance, risk, controls or technology environments, with experience leading components of engagements or workstreams
• Has exposure to broader assurance, regulatory, prudential or controls-related work, including standards, frameworks or reporting requirements that support trusted business outcomes
• Sees yourself as a high-performing professional ready for your next challenge
