/n Kickstart your career or take the next step with Hastings Deering – where our people build something BIGGER /n /n We’re looking for an experienced Sales Support Advisor to join our Resource Industries team in Brisbane and play a critical role in coordinating the successful delivery of current mining equipment and capital parts projects from quote through to customer acceptance. We sell, rent, and offer support and parts distribution services for Cat® products across a range of industries, including resources, general construction, civil transport and commercial construction, power systems, government, primary industries and marine. /n /n We have more than 3,500 employees across 23 business service centres throughout Queensland, Northern Territory, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands and New Caledonia, with our headquarters based in Brisbane, Australia. /n What you’ll be doing: /n As a Resource Industries Sales Support Advisor at Hastings Deering, you will: /n /n
- Coordinate equipment deliveries – manage the end-to-end lifecycle of new mining equipment and capital parts orders from quotation through to customer acceptance. /n
- Manage commercial administration – prepare quotations, monitor build costs, process invoicing and maintain accurate documentation. /n
- Provide project visibility – deliver timely equipment build updates and reporting to Account Managers, customers and key stakeholders. /n




- Support tender and contract activities – coordinate tender reviews and work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure requirements are met. /n
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement – liaise with Caterpillar, suppliers, shipping providers and customs agents to ensure seamless project execution. /n
- Drive continuous improvement – support post-build reviews, identify process improvements and maintain high standards of data integrity across sales systems. /n /n /n What you’ll need: /n A successful teammate will have experience in: /n /n
- Sales and project coordination – experience in sales support, order management, project administration or a similar coordination role. /n
- Technical understanding – mechanical aptitude or knowledge of Caterpillar equipment is highly advantageous. /n
- Commercial acumen – confidence working with quotations, budgets, invoicing and delivery schedules. /n
- Exceptional organisation skills – ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. /n
- Strong stakeholder management skills – proven ability to collaborate effectively with technical, operational and commercial teams. /n
- Systems capability – proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar. /n
