/n PURPOSE OF THE ROLE/n /n As a member of the global software development team, this role will be to enhance, maintain and support the Company’s in-house electronic trading system./n

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- To enhance, maintain and support the in-house trading platform /n
- Collaborate and engage with fellow team members including Traders, Quants and Infrastructure personnel /n
- Contribute to system architecture decisions to ensure low-latency/scalable/efficient/reliable solutions /n PERSON SPECIFICATION:/n Essential/n Qualifications/n /n
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, and equivalent work experience. /n Skills/n /n
- Strong demonstrable skills and track record in programming C++ /n
- Solid demonstrable skills and track record in developing on a Linux/gcc platform /n




- Experience with profiling/optimising software algorithms /n
- Experience with network programming, multithreaded programming, inter-process communications /n
- Experience with distributed architecture systems /n Attributes/n /n
- Team-player, with a personable and friendly approach /n
- Strong problem solving skills with a keen eye for details /n
- Self-motivated and creative, with a drive to deliver high-quality code /n
- Ability to deliver on time /n Desirable/n /n

experience:
market feeds and order execution API's, derivatives trading /n
