We are Australia's leading fast-casual Mexican Restaurant brand, and as the Retail/Restaurant Manager at GYG, you will lead the charge in overseeing daily operations, maintaining the highest standards of quality, adhering to all procedures, while embodying the GYG spirit. /n About the position /n /n
- Lead, supervise and motivate a team of more than 100 employees to achieve operational excellence /n
- Recruit, train, mentor and develop team members while fostering a positive workplace culture /n
- Prepare staff rosters and effectively manage labour costs and workforce planning /n
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant ensuring smooth and efficient service /n
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve profitability /n
- Manage inventory levels, preparation, storage and stock ordering to ensure continuous product availability and minimise waste /n
- Ensure compliance with Food Safety Standards and OH&S; legislation to ensure safety for both our guests and employees /n
- Resolve customer enquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner to maintain high guest satisfaction /n
- Conduct regular performance reviews and monitor the ongoing training process /n
- Maintain restaurant presentation, cleanliness and equipment in accordance with the GYG brand standards /n
- Prepare operational reports and provide recommendations to improve business performance /n

- Demonstrated leadership experience in a fast-paced, high-energy setting /n
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to identify sales and P&L; opportunities and collaborate on actionable strategies with the team /n
- Previous success in meeting KPI’s in a similar environment /n
- Proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service /n
