Responsibilities:
/n 1. Design and implement Microservices (RESTful APIs, Reactive and Batch) /n 2. Work with Software Engineers working on the same projects to ensure the /n development process is completed on time, and to the engineering standards. /n 3. Develop scalable java frameworks that will be used by multiple teams /n 4. Play an active role in positively influencing the design direction /n 5. Check in and deploy code and configurations; participate in release management /n 6. Taking ownership of the features/components, you work on
- from development /n through deployment and verification, to setting up production monitoring. /n 7. Participate in key initiatives from the Technology team on innovative ways to /n improve capability, standards and risk profile of the platform. /n 8. Cooperate with other departments as required to perform assigned duties or /n reasonably assist other staff in performing their duties. /n 9.

Experience:
/n Risk Mindset Proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current /n and future risks. /n Essential: /n Microservice Architecture and best practices. /n Being an individual contributor with proactive & go-getter attitude who works well in a /n team. /n Expert in Java, Spring suite, and REST APIs. /n Expert on Design Patterns /n Experienced with Kafka and MongoDB /n Knowledge on Jetty, Tomcat and Websphere. /n Domain Driven Design /n Java Performance Tuning /n Maven and CI Tools (Jenkins/Team City) /n Agile methodologies and working on short sprint cycles /n Desirable: /n Docker, Kubernetes and AWS /n /n
