/n 02nd October, 2026/n Retail Technology Coordinator Contract
- 12 Months /n Melbourne /n $400-$550 p/d About the opportunity: /n A national retailer with a growing store footprint needs a Store Technology Coordinator to make sure every new store opens with its technology in place and working. You'll be the link between store development, retail operations, the tech team and a network of vendors and field techs. You'll keep openings, refits and refresh programs on schedule without getting in the way of trading. What you'll be doing: /n /n
- Coordinating the technology side of new store openings, refits, relocations and closures /n
- Locking in site requirements, dates and milestones with store development and project teams /n
- Lining up POS, EFTPOS, handhelds, printers, network gear and comms services for each site /n
- Managing ordering, staging, freight and delivery so kit lands in the right place on time /n
- Scheduling and directing field technicians, carriers and suppliers /n
- Running hardware refresh programs across the store network with minimal impact on trading /n
- Tracking risks, dependencies and long lead items and raising them early /n
- Keeping deployment, serial number and asset records accurate /n




- Making sure old equipment is recovered, reused or securely disposed of /n
- Confirming vendor work is complete, with handover evidence, before sign off /n
- Improving rollout checklists, schedules and processes after every project /n What we need to see:/n /n /n
- Experience coordinating tech deployments, store projects, field services or similar operational delivery /n
- Background in retail, multisite, construction, logistics or another fast paced project environment /n
- Solid planning and scheduling across several projects at once /n
- Proven experience managing suppliers, technicians or freight providers /n
- High accuracy with asset or serial number records /n
- Confidence with Excel, Outlook and Teams /n
- Strong communication and a practical, customer focused approach /n Bonus points:/n /n /n
- Store opening, refit or retail lifecycle program experience /n
- Knowledge of POS, EFTPOS, Zebra handhelds and store networks /n
- Jira Service Management or asset management tools /n
- Exposure to AP21 or other retail systems /n
- A qualification in IT, project coordination or logistics /n /n /n /n
