About the role
/n As an Intermediate/Senior Accountant, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality service across a wide-ranging client portfolio, while being supported and mentored by experienced leaders within the firm.
Key responsibilities
include: /n /n
- Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for a range of clients (companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals) /n
- Managing compliance work including BAS, IAS and other statutory obligations /n
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships /n
- Assisting with tax planning and advisory work /n
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members (senior candidates) /n
- Contributing to process improvement and internal best practice /n /n About you: /n /n
- CA/CPA qualified or actively working towards completion /n
- 2+ years' experience in a public practice environment /n
- Strong technical accounting and taxation knowledge /n
- Excellent communication skills and a client-first mindset /n
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB, XPM) /n
