About the role
/n Join NEC Australia and play a key role in advancing enterprise automation capability, working as part of a high-performing team focused on improving operational efficiency, service quality and future AI-enabled automation outcomes. /n /n You'll contribute to the design, architecture and delivery of automation solutions using Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), Python and PowerShell, helping drive automation adoption across the enterprise. /n /n This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced automation engineer to work within a team driving NEC's automation transformation, partnering with the Automation Lead and stakeholders across infrastructure, cloud, network, security and ITSM domains. /n /n

Key responsibilities
/n /n
- /n Contribute to the delivery of NEC's enterprise automation strategy and roadmap as part of the broader automation team. /n
- /n Support the ongoing development, administration and optimisation of the Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform. /n
- /n Design and deliver automation across infrastructure, cloud, networks, security and ITSM. /n
- /n Develop scalable automation solutions using Ansible, Python, PowerShell and APIs. /n
- /n Drive automation governance, standards and best practices. /n
- /n Partner with technical and business leaders to identify and deliver automation opportunities. /n /n /n About you /n /n
- /n 8+ years in automation, DevOps,



platform engineering or managed services. /n
- /n 5+ years' experience with Ansible, AWX or Red Hat AAP. /n
- /n Strong automation development skills in Python, PowerShell and REST APIs. /n
- /n Experience delivering enterprise-scale automation and technology transformation initiatives. /n
- /n Excellent stakeholder and leadership skills. /n
- /n Desirable: Red Hat certifications such as Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) in Ansible Automation, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) with a focus on Linux Automation using Ansible, or equivalent automation-focused certifications. /n /n /n
