This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong underground mining experience who is ready to progress into a senior role and further develop their leadership, coaching, and operational influence.
Reporting to the Manager Health & Safety, you will work closely with leaders across the operation to drive safety performance, strengthen risk management practices, and foster a proactive safety culture.##

About the Role
As a Senior Health & Safety Advisor, you will:
* Provide practical WHS leadership, support and advice to operational teams and site leaders.
* Partner with supervisors and crews to identify hazards and implement effective risk controls.
* Lead and support incident investigations, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Conduct workplace inspections, audits and compliance activities.
* Assist with the maintenance and continuous improvement of site safety management systems.
* Support emergency response, injury management and statutory compliance requirements.
* Analyse safety trends and contribute to initiatives that improve site safety performance.
* Coach and mentor leaders and employees to strengthen safety capability across the operation.
* Support training and competency processes, including inductions,



safety training activities, verification of competency programs and maintenance of training records.## About YouYou may already be a WHS Advisor looking for greater responsibility, or an experienced safety professional seeking a role with broader influence.

To be successful, you will have:* Experience in a Health & Safety role within an underground mining environment.
* Sound knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management principles and mining safety systems.
* Experience participating in incident investigations and implementing corrective actions.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
* A proactive, hands-on approach and genuine commitment to creating safer workplaces.
* Tertiary or Diploma qualifications in Work Health & Safety (or equivalent).
* Current WA Class C Driver's Licence.### Desirable
* Statutory Supervisor qualification.
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
* ICAM Investigation qualification.
