Rex Plumbing offers a comprehensive range of plumbing services in both residential and commercial fields with clients across Government, Aged Care & Retirement Living, Healthcare and Education sectors. Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a motivated Plumbing Apprentice to join our team and kick-start a career in the trade. This role would suit a school leaver, or someone looking for a change, who is keen to learn from experienced, qualified plumbers. You’ll be joining a friendly and supportive team who are hardworking, highly motivated and enjoy a laugh along the way. Based in North Melbourne, we service clients across all of Melbourne. About You:

No prior experience necessary. Just a genuine interest in a career in plumbing and a strong work ethic Willing to attend TAFE/RTO training as part of your apprenticeship and apply what you learn on the job A problem solver. You show initiative in solving problems the right way, not the easy way Someone who doesn’t mind their own company.



Can work autonomously as well as part of a team Professional and well presented, with great communication skills Will focus on being safe every day in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations Good with words. You are able to write explicit and concise job notes Reliable, punctual and eager to learn from experienced tradespeople

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in, or eligible to enrol in, a Certificate III in Plumbing Current or willing to obtain a red/white card Current driving license Able to obtain Police and Working with Children (Employee) Checks Structured on-the-job training and mentoring from experienced, qualified plumbers A explicit pathway and support to complete your Certificate III in Plumbing Tools and PPE provided Supportive team culture Flexible working arrangements Long term employment upon successful completion of your apprenticeship
