About the role
The Mooi Collective is looking for an experienced, confident hairdresser/s to join our salon in Yanchep. We are a collective of different Hair and beauty services and are currently restructuring our business model, this includes expanding our team. The Mooi collective is a salon that prides itself on consistency, efficiency, transparency, team work that enjoys genuine connection, having pride in our trades in a stress free environment. We are the only commercial hairdresser in Yanchep. To put it basically
- We are looking for someone who is happy to arrive at work with a high standard of work ethic, able to follow policies and procedures while having a laugh and enjoy an honest, drama free space.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver quality hairdressing services to clients
- Manage your time and appointments efficiently
- Work with De Lorenzo products with ongoing product, colour and technical training & support.
- Communicate directly, respectfully and professionally with clients and team
- Be able to work independently
- Ability to record client notes consistently
- Continue learning and developing your skills
- Keeping a clean, neat and tidy workspace
- Knowledge of booking systems & POS systems About you
- Minimum 3 years qualified hairdressing experience, this does not include your apprenticeship.
- Consistency with your clients results and work ethic
- Efficient – confident in managing your time and appointments
- A transparent communicator – you communicate directly, respectfully and professionally
- Integrity

- Client-focused and takes pride in delivering quality work
- Comfortable working independently while still being part of a team
- Ability to adhere to company policies and procedures

- Someone who values a simple, qualified workplace, with a great environment
- Having an all round hairdressing skill set, however, having a specialty is an advantage, such as;
- Short cuts
- Precision cuts
- Razor
- Blonde / lived in
- Vivid
- Comfortable with being apart of social media content, still and moving images.
