AllCare GC is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our qualified team and deliver community care to older adults and NDIS clients across the Gold Coast and Northern NSW.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments.
- Develop and update individualised nursing care plans.
- Deliver complex clinical care, including assessment and management of bladder and bowel control issues, wound assessment and ongoing wound care, and catheter management.
- Administer medications and perform medical treatments within scope of practice.
- Monitor participants’ health and promptly identify changes requiring urgent attention.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes.
- Collaborate with support workers, health professionals, families, and external healthcare providers.
- Provide medical advice and support to disability support workers as needed.
- Ensure all care is delivered in accordance with NDIS and Aged Care Practice Standards, organisational policies, and current evidence-based practice. Essential Criteria
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum 3–5 years' post-registration nursing experience.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering complex clinical care to participants.
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
- Current National Police Check.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Current driver licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle. Pay: $54.00 – $90.00 per hour Work
